Bhavans fraternity celebrated the 14 th Founder’s Day (the 13th anniversary of school) in Smart Indian School to express their immense love and gratitude to the founder of Bhavans Middle East, Mr. N.K Ramachandran Menon. The eventful occasion was graced by the presence of the Ambassador of Guyana to Kuwait, His Excellency, Dr. Shamir Ali, , the founder, Chairman of Bhavans Middle East, Mr. N.K. Ramachandran Menon, Mrs Sudha Ramachandran, the Vice-Chairman, Mr. Sooraj Ramachandran, the Director of Bhavans Kuwait, Mr. Krishnadas Menon, the Principal of Indian Educational School, Mr. T. Premkumar, the Principal of Smart Indian School, Mr. Mahesh Iyyer, the Principal of Jack and Jill, Ms. Rathi Raveendran, and the Vice Principal of PIES Abu Dhabi Mr Suresh V Balakrishnan.
Teachers presented a song penned and composed exclusively for the Chairman. Mrs. Lalitha Premkumar, the Vice-principal of the Primary wing IES, extended a warm welcome to the lovely gathering. The Chairman was honored by the guest of honor, His Excellency, Dr. Shamir Ali, the Ambassador of Guyana to Kuwait with a customized stole. The school logo of the Bhavans Middle East designed by Raebel Christo of grade 12 was released in this occasion and wholeheartedly welcomed by the Bhavans family with thunderous rounds of applause. The principal of IES and SIS presented Chairman a miniature model of the Bhavans Middle East schools. Ms. Anselma Tessy, the Senior Vice- Principal shared with the audience her decade long memorable journey with Bhavans Kuwait. The sublime theme of the day- ‘Love’ was celebrated in the dance drama: ‘Love, The Essence of Life’. The spectacular show left the audience spellbound. The teachers who completed ten years and five years of service in the school were honored with a token of appreciation. The grade coordinators and the staff who had cent percent attendance in the last academic year were also honored. The star pedagogues who obtained a perfect hundred in their respective subjects in the CBSE examinations were also acknowledged on the most memorable day.
