My dear parents and my dearest children of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan schools in the Middle East.
Looking back, we the members of Bhavan across the globe are really proud to have in the Middle East, the best team of parents, matured and seasoned Principals, proficient and dedicated Heads of Departments, with a team of nearly 600 filtered and caring teachers and administrative staff to look after more than ten thousand enthusiastic, brilliant children in classes KG1 to Grade 12 spread over in four GCC states.
The first Bhavan’s school in the Middle East, Indian Educational School – Kuwait, opened the doors for its first batch of children, on 4 September, 2006 with classes from KG 1 to Grade 8. Bhavan made another history in the Middle East. CBSE inspectors inspected the school on its 14th working day and CBSE approved and affiliated the school to CBSE within 30 working days.
Jack and Jill, the pre primary wing of Bhavans in Kuwait started functioning in September 2008.
In April 2010, Bhavan started its second school in the Middle East, Bhavan’s Public School, in Doha – Qatar under the Chairmanship of Padmashree Shri C K Menon. The school is having grades from KG1 to Grade 12.
In September 2010, Bhavan’s 3rd school in the Middle East, Private International English School, started functioning in Musaffah, Abu Dhabi.
April 2014 witnessed opening two schools of Bhavan’s in the GCC. Bahrain Indian School in Bahrain and Al Saad Indian School in Al Ain – Abu Dhabi.
September 2014 witnessed the inauguration of a coaching center, Scientific Excellence Academy, in Kuwait. The center is preparing children to appear for entrance examination to all professional examinations in India.
In September 2016, Bhavans Smart Indian School started functioning in Kuwait – another KG to Grade 9 school, progressing to grade 12 in the next 4 years. The school situated in a 10K sqm land with over 150 class rooms, 2 Indore swimming Pools, Gym, Play grounds, separate activity rooms and external football and Basketball courts.
September 2017 witnessed Bhavans association with Wise Indian Academy in Ajman. Now have classes up to Grade 6 and growing to grade 12 in the next years. The purpose built school with over 100 classrooms, and all other required facilities, full green football court and all other sports facilities.
We grow with the support and participation from our dear parents. We together share the responsibility to make Bhavans “The best school in the region”. The entire “Bhavans Team” is committed to the responsibility we have taken – “to prepare the young boys and girls for a better tomorrow”.
