Bhavans Smart Indian School celebrated its 74th Republic Day. Principal Mahesh Iyer unfurled the flag at the school premises at 8 am. The school choir sang Indian National Anthem. Vice Principal Albin Daisy, KG Supervisor Rajni Menon, teaching and non-teaching staff, students and parents were also present.

Principal Mahesh Iyer read the Republic Day message of the honourable President of India, Ms. Droupathi Murmu. She called on all to dedicate themselves to the growth and progress of the country. She also reminded us that every citizen is committed to safeguarding the integrity and pluralism of the country. In her address to the nation, the president said every new generation brings new possibilities and dreams. “This is a new era of technological and information revolution. Children are now aware of various domestic, social and environmental issues. With the advent of technology, knowledge and information are now at their fingertips,” she said.

The following artistic activities of patriotic songs and dances captivated the students and teachers.

Students, parents and the teaching community enthusiastically participated in the simple and proud event, which the P.E. department of the school headed by Ms. Deepa coordinated it very well.
