“Earth is the home for each one of us and therefore, we must respect it and protect it.”
For us at Bhavans Smart Indian School Kindergarten and Jack and Jill Preschool, Earth Day was an annual event to show support for environmental protection and to highlight how nature can benefit our health and well-being.
The kindergarten children celebrated Earth Day On 26th April 2023. They were made aware of the importance of preserving our planet and that a healthy planet is not an option, it is a necessity.
Children were encouraged to bring and take care of small plants in class, and they were taught to nurture and take care of them.
The message to plant more trees, to keep our Earth nourished and clean and make it a better place to have a healthy life was passed on to the kids.
Children were also briefed on the importance of Reduce, Reuse and Recycle through relevant videos.
