The touch and feel of clay have a naturally relaxing quality. To create something from scratch is indeed to be proud of and empowering. Thus, through clay modelling a child can bring imagination to life. Therefore, Bhavans Smart Indian School and Jack and Jill Pre School conducted  clay modelling competition for the kindergarten children on 15th November 2023. The little hands pounded, squeezed, rolled the clay to make and decorate models from clay. The UKG children crafted beautiful flowers, the LKG moulded animals, birds and insects and the Pre-kg exhibited their skills in moulding fruits and vegetables.

Clay modelling induces play based learning and develops eye hand coordination, imagination and creativity, fine motor skills, attention span and fosters their sense of trial and error.
