The kindergarten classes of Bhavans Smart Indian School and Jack and Jill Pre-School celebrated Diwali to foster a vibrant cultural experience. As part of the festivities, both schools underwent a lively transformation, adorned with traditional Diwali decorations, creating visually captivating and culturally immersive environments. Children added to the festive ambiance by dressing in vibrant traditional Indian attire. The Diwali celebration also featured a delightful showcase of creativity, with Pre-KG, KG1, and KG2 students engaging in hands-on activities like crafting colourful paper diyas. Guided by teachers, the young learners displayed their artistic talents, creating tangible reminders of the festival and enhancing fine motor skills.
The highlight of the celebration was the kindergarten students’ Diwali Assembly. Through dance, music, and skits, the young learners skillfully portrayed Diwali’s cultural and historical aspects. This not only entertained the audience but also deepened their understanding of the festival. Concurrently, a heartwarming Diwali sharing party encouraged a spirit of giving and camaraderie, as each child contributed a small Diwali-themed food item.
