By voting we add our voice to the chorus that forms opinions and basis for actions.’ – Jens Stoltenberg
The election for the Students’ Council was held at Smart Indian School on 27th April 2023 with the help of Social Science Department. The objective of appointing the Students’ Council is to provide a platform to the students to develop leadership qualities by organizing and carrying out school activities and service projects. In addition to planning events that contribute to school spirit and community welfare, the Students’ Council is the voice of the student body. They help share student ideas, interests, and concerns.

The council election was a two-days process. In the preliminary round, candidates who had filed nominations were asked to give a three-minute speech in the auditorium to present their case on why they should be elected for the posts they had stood for. This was followed by the voting. Students filed nominations for the posts of Head Boy, Head Girl, Cultural Secretaries, Sports Secretaries, Public Relations Officer, Student Editor, House Captains, and Deputy Captains (Junior and Senior).
