The school is affiliated with the CBSE and follows the curriculum the Central Board of Secondary Education prescribes.

As laid down by the CBSE, guidelines are followed from the Grade 1 to 12 curriculum.

The Smart Indian School with English as the medium of instruction follows the curriculum guidelines and syllabus laid down by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE)

The Smart Indian School syllabus is not just a collection of subjects, but a comprehensive framework. It is built on a rich foundation of reading, writing, and arithmetic, and then layered with history, science, geography, music and the arts. This ensures a well-rounded education with no gaps in instruction, fostering higher order thinking skills and promoting content mastery.

Languages offered

  • SIS is offering Malayalam,Tamil ,Urdu and Bangla as second language for grade 1 to 5
  • II to IV: Hindi or French as 2nd language
  • Standard V to X: Hindi, French or Sanskrit as 2nd language

    Third language

    • Arabic is taught as 3rd Language from Grades 1 to 8.

      Important Notice

      Hindi is compulsory as either a 2nd language or 3rd language as per CBSE rules. However being in a foreign land with other nationalities in the school, we offer French and Sanskrit as 2nd language. Parents are recommended to take Hindi as 2nd language. Those who take particular language as 2nd language in Std IV and Std V are advised to maintain the same as 2nd language up to Std X for continuity.
