Cementing India’s status as a global power in space, the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) scripted history as Chandrayaan-3 spacecraft made a soft landing on the surface of the Moon on 23rd August,2023, Wednesday evening. With the mission’s success, India has become the first country to land a spacecraft on the lunar’s uncharted territory of south pole and fourth overall to reach on the Moon. “India is on the moon!” Prime Minister Narendra Modi who was attending the 15th  BRICS Summit in Johannesburg said.

Special screening of the event was organized in the auditorium of Bhavans Smart Indian School. The spectators included Chairman of Bhavans Middle East, Mr. N. K. Ramachandran Menon, Principal of Smart Indian School, Vice Principals, parents, teachers and students of Indian Education School & Smart Indian School. As soon as the touchdown happened thunderous applause broke the silence in the auditorium.
