Bhavans Smart Indian School celebrated World Science Day on November 10th,2022. The theme of World Science Day was ‘Basic Science for Sustainable Development.’

Sustainable Development Goal is the talk of the entire world now. Based on the goals of sustainable development to mould the next generation to become responsible citizens, Smart Indian School conducted different activities for students of classes 1 to 9. Students of grades 1 to 5 exhibited various working and still models using different types of used materials, to achieve these goals whereas a Cartoon Drawing Competition was conducted for grades 6 to 9. Water Filtration Methods, End of desertification and restore degraded land, Restoring terrestrial and freshwater ecosystems, and Desalination techniques were generally focused to achieve SDG through science exhibitions. Students and teachers visited the exhibition. The exhibition opened our eyes towards the fact that technology and manpower should walk alongside each other. Mr. Mahesh Somashekharan, the teacher in charge coordinated the event.
