Bhavans Smart Indian School Kuwait won the Overall Championship – second place in the ‘Niram 2021’ online painting competition. The competition was conducted on November 12, 2021, by Kala Kuwait, a leading cultural organization in Kuwait, in memory of the first Prime Minister of India Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru.

Students, Abigail Mariam Philip, Sarah Jessica and Abhirami Nitin were the winners in various categories for the school.

Indian Ambassador to Kuwait H.E. Shri Sibi George presented the awards to the schools and the students.

About 2700 students from 24 Indian schools in Kuwait participated in the competition.

Principal Mr. Mahesh Iyer received the award and trophy from the Ambassador for Smart Indian School. Ms. Bhavitha Bright, the school’s program in charge, along with students and Parents received the gold medals and certificates. Bhavans Middle East Chairman Mr. N. K. Ramachandran Menon congratulated all the winners.
