Every child is an artist at SIS

“Art makes you see things clearer.” –David Hockney.

Picking up a crayon and making marks on a paper is often the very first art activity for young children.

A class drawing and coloring competition for kindergartners was organized on 17th May at Smart Indian School with the purpose to explore and encourage creativity in children and offer them a platform to show their skill in drawing and coloring. It inspired the children to think and work creatively and promoted artistic excellence.

The little artists participated earnestly in the competition. It was a difficult task thereafter for the class teacher to shortlist one student from each class as the tiny tots came up with amazing artwork in drawing. Each of these drawings was artistically colored by the children. This fun filled activity witnessed an enthusiastic participation of all students.
