A gala time – Food, friends and sunshine!
The teaching and non-teaching staff members of Smart Indian School spent a wonderful day at the Abdali Farm, Kuwait.
Smart Indian School organized a picnic for the staff members on 21st March 2022. With teachers and non-teaching staff, the school buses headed for Abdali Farm in the outskirts of Kuwait. The entire team was extremely excited to reach the destination.
The honourable sponsor Mr. Ali Judean Al Rasheedi welcomed the team to the trip and the farm. After entering the gate, teachers were served the traditional drink of Kuwait by the host. The next was a small tour of the vegetable farm, and an aviary was organized systematically in small groups. Various games were organized by the event coordinators Ms. Hiral and Ms. Preksha. The whole team enjoyed and played the games with zest and enthusiasm. There were multiple games for children that also added colours to the picnic. After a tiring and fun-packed morning, we all headed for lunch. A sumptuous lunch was served, which was enjoyed by all the staff members. Before and After lunch, all the members danced on the floor with great energy on the thumping dance numbers.
The farm has a gorgeous landscape filled with a water fountain, greenery and birds. It also has a beautiful artificial pond with many species of colourful fishes swimming in it.
After all the fun, games and dance, it was time to thank the people behind organizing such a fantastic day out of the hectic schedule. The Bhavans’ Middle East chairman Mr. N.K. Ramachandran Menon addressed the team. The Principal of Smart Indian School, Mr. Mahesh Iyer, thanked the sponsor for the delightful hospitality.
The school buses started homeward journey at about 3 p.m. Everyone had a big smile indicating that they had had great fun.
