Be Aware, Take Care
The slogan ‘Be aware, take care’ resonated the Kindergarten corridors of Bhavans Smart Indian School and Jack and Jill Pre-School on 3rd February 2022, as they organized “Safety Day”. A day to make the students aware of the safety measures that one should take in one’s daily life, was greeted with great fervor.
The kindergarten teachers showed power point presentations on safety rules that we should follow at home, school, and road. Through enactments and role plays, children easily and enthusiastically learnt about these rules.
Keeping the current pandemic situation in mind, and to make children aware of the precautions to be taken, the LKG children were guided to make protective face shields and UKG kids made face masks.
Children proudly displayed their masks and shields and insisted on wearing it on the way back home. After an eventful day, teachers were assured that the kids grabbed the essence of the day and took home some food for thought
