Bhavans SIS’ call for a two-minute silence to honour the Late Amir of Kuwait
A virtual moment of silence was observed in Bhavans Smart Indian School as a mark of respect to the late Amir of Kuwait, HH Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah who passed away on September 29. The two-minute silence was observed at 11.00 am on October 4, as received from the Embassy of India.
The bilateral relations have always been on an amicable term between India and Kuwait and the departed soul had been one of the major reasons to see the two nations flourishing in all spheres. The Prime Minister of India, Shri. Narendra Modi had expressed his condolences and called him as ‘a beloved friend of the Arab world and a close friend to India’. His greatness and extraordinary love in the strengthening of Indian community were spectacular. India has also declared one-day state mourning to show their love for Kuwait.
The school has also joined to remember the respected late Amir of Kuwait and thereby partaken in the mourning of the state.
