Earth is like our home and we must make efforts to keep it clean and green. World Environment Day is not just a celebration but also a reminder to take the best care of our surroundings.

The Class Principals of Smart Indian School and Jack and Jill Preschool planned out an ‘Environmental day’ celebration for their kindergarteners at school to educate them about the importance of nature conservation. Kids were asked to wear green coloured outfits to show their support for preserving our Mother Nature.

The tiny tots of KG1 drew and coloured pictures of their beautiful Earth while the KG2 tots visually presented some out of the box ideas on how they could save their surroundings. Keeping in mind that the habits formed at a young age make all the difference and that it determines our future, the kindergarten teachers formulated a daily task chart for the little ones to follow, which in turn would also make them understand that every tiny thing helps. Songs and dances pepped up the celebration and the kindergarten wing reverberated with the cheers and laughter of our little ones.
