Glamour takes a day off at Bhavan’s SIS
A grand and gorgeous fancy dress competition was conducted for grades 1 and 2 on 19th September, 2017 in SIS auditorium. The intention and objective of the event was to bring out the hidden personalities with the specification of themes in advance. “The impersonation of villians” marked an aura of self-confidence, courage and will-power to the performing actors on stage. The auditorium was filled with the essence of positivity, creativity and productivity with the beaming and glittering visages that engulfed the whole group on that day.
The chivalric and brave contestants adorned themselves as terrific villains. To name a few: Ravana from Indian epic Ramayana, Maleficent from “Sleeping Beauty”, Dame Gothel from German fairytale “Rapunzel”, Big Bad Wolf from Little Red Riding Hood, Jafar from Aladdin, Jadis, the white witch of Narnia and Riddler, the super villian in DC comics.
Their outfits, dialogues, intonation, expressive eyes and appropriate gestures had certainly carried the onlookers to go back to prints. The beauty with which each child presented gave a boost and positive vibe for the non-participants to come up on stage in future.
The final thank you note was conveyed to the Principal Mr.Mahesh Iyer for being there at all times with a massive support and a source of motivation.
